Description

The Hawaiian word "puakenikeni" literally means "ten-cent flower." In the early 1900s, on "Boat Days" -- so called because it was a time before air travel to the islands-- each blossom was sold for a dime and sewn into lei for the arriving visitors. The sweet puakenikeni are still popular today.

This original Jade piece will add a bold, modern statement to any wardrobe. Each scarf is uniquely designed and custom printed. Color and placement of artwork may vary upon receipt.
